THINK TANK
What is ‘Think Tank’:
Lot of young boys and girls are in our Bank throughout the country whose talents are very vital for the growth of the Bank and development of the Organisation. These youth love to work for the Orgnisation. As such, a platform is provided to them called “CBOA THINK TANK” under which they can pool their talent and work for the Organisation.
Who is “Think Tank “ :
“The young generation in the bank who believe that the future is bright and by assuming the role of CHANGE AGENTS to synchronize the Bank and Trade Union with fast metamorphosing financial worls, they could usher the country to become super power”
Why “CBOA Think Tank”:
- Our bank today has got around 11000 officers out of about 21500 officers and about 6000 employees joined with higher educational qualifications and highest hopes.
- About 4600 officers are retiring in another three years who will be displaced from the new recruits from now on or from the clerks recruited after 2009 who will be again replaced by the new generation.
- It is apparent that in another three years the young officers number recruited after 2009 will rise to a minimum of 15000 I.e., 2/3rd of the total strength.
- This force is only going to lead the bank and the trade union.
- As a progressive and democratic Organisation, Canara bank officers’ Association believes that the future leaders are going to emerge from this lot only to steer both the industry and the trade union movement.
- As an officers movement, possessing the rich policies of leading the trade union by the serving officers and develop quality officers to lead the bank, CBOA believes that it is the responsibility of a reputed trade union to develop a strong second line.
- As these future leaders of both industry and trade union are experiencing a shortage of exposure, we are attempting to hasten the process by organising them.
Objectives of “Think Tank” :
DEMONSTRATE i.e. DEMONSTRATE THE YOUTH
DIGITALISE i.e. DIGITALISE THE BANK
DEVELOP i.e. DEVELOP THE CBOA
DISPLAY i.e. DISPLAY THE RESULT.
HOW TO ACHIEVE THE OBJECTIVES OF “THINK TANK”?
All the youths are congregating under the banner of “CBOA THINK TANKCONCLAVE”
ORGANISING OF THINK TANK YOUTH CONCLAVES:
In order to achieve the objectives, the ‘Think Tank Youth Conclaves’ were conducted at the following centres with the prime idea of training, moulding& motivating the young men & women officers in all trade union activities.

Dear Canpal’s,
It’s amazing to experience that there is a helping hand, a one point contact that is always available to extend help in answering all our queries. Currently our organisation having majority of officers as new recruits, the need of the hour is to get equipped with knowledge to execute out duties effectively.
It is not possible to have 100% operational time to get awareness on all areas. We are fortunate that during our time this facility is being initiated by (y)our CBOA.
Our Help Tank institute, a multi-tiered trouble shooting approach by having resources with extensive knowledge. Help Tank gives us opportunity to explore and get expertise in any area of the listed topics.
The Help Tank also provides documentary on all the queries raised with answers which benefits all our members to get exposure on various topics. The facility to re-escalate their queries for further clear understanding is also available.
I appreciate all the members who had given their willingness to be a part of Resource panel for the listed topics of Help Tank. I also appreciate our GULBARGA team for coming up with a beautiful logo for Help Tank.
HELP TANK addresses the queries on the following 9 topics. Here is the consolidated list of our members given their willingness to be part of resource panel.

Dear CANPAL,
We the CBOA office bearers and members are having every reason to feel proud that during the last two days all financial dailies have been reporting on our unique project of mobilising business for our MOTHER BANK under the banner “THUS WE CAN” through CANPAL.
The business canvassed in actual terms are pouring in and getting documented in CANPAL’S CHRONICLES which I am sure that you are all aware of.
To accelerate the momentum let all the office bearers get on to the job of enrolling all the members to be the members of CANPAL and gather 10 potential new customers from every member.
The collected application from the members with the customers list shall be forwarded to Chennai office for getting the ID card for CANPAL members.
One of our young cadres suggested for forming a BLOOD DONORS GROUP – “BE POSITIVE” and the CANPAL initiates action towards this objective as an expression of commitment to Social cause.
Shall we consolidate the 24000 CANPAL members and 200000 POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS?

Dear Canpal’s,
A beautiful life does not happen, it is built. As CANPAL, never hesitate to stretch its hands beyond boundaries, now it has stretched to create the bonds of life. Yes friends, CANPAL is pursuing its new avenue CANPAL MATRIMONIAL, the “CANBANDHAN”.
The need of a matrimonial among us is the newly budded 14000 young officers, who have made their career with CAN FAMILY. CANPAL takes the responsibility to make this bud to blossom in the virtue of their life.
Here I also want to open up that, I am selfish in initiating this matrimonial column, as I want my boys and girls to reap the benefits of the hard earned privileges and rights of our mother organization. That is
If both are employed in our bank as officers – A family can avail,
1.Housing loan of Rs 1 crore….
2.Car loan of Rs 10 Lakhs each…….
And lot more in the carts and others in line to come live in near future.
Email id: canpalmatrimonial@gmail.com
We do not remember days, we remember moments. I am set toexperience such greater moments with all my boys and girls.
